Gregory R. Dillon


Greg Dillon is the founder of Dillon Development Partners LLC, a program and project management firm offering a range of services on behalf of individuals, corporations and organizations.

He served as Vice President, Finance for the Jack Kent Cooke Inc./Washington Redskins Football, Inc. organization where his experience in strategic planning, financing, negotiation and construction was evident as he managed all phases of the construction of FedEx Field, fulfilling a vision for the Capital Region and a Champion Sports Team

Faced with numerous challenges related to completing the construction of FedEx Field, Greg was the primary interface and communicated directly with the Prince George’s County, County Executive and his Chief Administrator, keeping them apprised of the progress of completing the outstanding county punchlist.

Most recently, Greg managed and coordinated the design team for a DC developer in getting Board of Zoning Appeals unanimous approval and City Council unanimous approval to build two buildings in the Southeast DC Ballpark District.  During this time, Greg worked with land use council, architects, civil engineers, DC Department of Transportation and DC Department of Planning and Zoning to get the approval granted on a fast track.

Southeast DC Mixed-Use Development

Dillon Development Partners, LLC served as the Development Director for a DC developer coordinating master-planning the Ballpark District.  The plan for the district was to offer five, fully integrated yet distinctive areas for the more than 2.5 million fans attending Washington Nationals games, the residents of Washington, DC and play a vital role in the City’s tourism industry.  The program included popular major retailers intermixed with boutique stores and restaurants along active streets.

Georgetown Park Redevelopment

Acting as Development Director for a prominent Washington, DC developer on acquisition and redevelopment of this landmark mixed use development.  Responsibilities included redevelopment design, asset management, financial management and acquisition closing.

Avalon School

Worked with Chairman of the Board and Headmaster to assist in locating new campus locations, introduce them to County Council members, and other government officials regarding their educational goals and desire to be a part of Montgomery County.

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Headquarters

Located in Lansdowne, VA on a 17 acre wooded lot, this 22,000 SF facility serves as the foundation’s national headquarters.  As a member of the Facilities Subcommittee of the Board of Directors, Greg Dillon worked with foundation executive staff on land acquisition,  underwriting of tax exempt financing and monitoring of construction
