Dillon Development Partners is providing Project Management for a 253 acre development in Frederick County, MD. The Demiray Project is a phased project effort with entitlement, design, financing and construction being managed by Dillon Development Partners for 200 acres of the original 253 acre farm. An historic manor house, with significance to Frederick County and the state of Maryland, rests on beautiful rolling land with incredible vistas. Special care is being taken to celebrate not only the manor house but also the original farm buildings and creek bottoms. High density development was not the owner’s desire, rather a sense of building a community that blends well with existing structures. Dillon Development Partners is managing the process of budgeting, scheduling, landscape architecture and engineering design for the Demiray family. Green architecture and sustainable products will be encouraged throughout this community. From the mechanical side, geothermal heating and cooling, solar panels, heat exchangers and hot water pre-heaters will be just some of the considerations. Rain water collection for irrigation and “green” landscape designs are being encouraged and designed.
